The shoulder seam should sit exactly at the edge of your shoulder — not drooping or pulling up. This is the most important fit indicator.
You should be able to close the jacket comfortably with 1–2 inches of ease. Leather stretches slightly with wear, so a snug fit is acceptable.
The cuff should fall at the wrist bone. Keep your arms slightly bent when measuring for the most accurate sleeve length reading.
